New Adventure

We received word that Vincent will be stationed at Weisbaden, Germany for about 1 to 3 years. He will be with the 148th MP Co. He is pretty excited about it right now. He will report on July 10th.

Happy Halloween

We had a nice Halloween this year. We had about 54 trick or treaters come to the door. These are some of the spooks that visited us on Halloween. Raymond, Julian, Brianna, Monica, and Christina and of course their parents were here too. This is the first Halloween in many years that we have had a lot of kids come. Was such fun!

Nebraska Fans

Here are my Nebraska Fans! Raymond and Julian are both in football right now and soccer and dance. They are busy boys. They rode their bikes over so I had to take a couple of pictures of them They looked so nice in their red shirts.

My 3 beautifil little grandaughters. My how they are growing. Brianna will be 5 in December and Monica will be 3 on Apr 30 and Christina is 6 months now. The older girls are just the right age to be into everything but still lots of fun.

Palmer Family Clanvention

Donna is the one that has done a lot of the Palmer family genealogy.

She plans to send us some more information when she gets back home.

We went to the Palmer reunion in August 2010. It was quite nice and I think it was worth the trip. Ther photo above is the view from the building where the reunion was held near St Charles, Iowa.

4th of July

The 4th of July was an enjoyable day for all.

The kids and big kids got to shoot off fireworks.

The younger ones got to play in the pool and blow bubbles

and write on the sidewalk with sidewalk chalk and

they came in later and colored pictures.

William did the barbequing and had some help from Arvon.

About dark everyone went to Arvon's for the nightime fireworks.

We also got to see the fireworks display that the college puts on every year.

Christina Arianna Escamilla

Brianna calls her Christianna like her name with the anna. She is a really good baby and very seldom fusses.

We had a hail storm on Monday evening. We watched as the clouds circled. There were funnel clouds sighted north of town. It did do a bit of damage but not bad. This was the second one this year.

This is our new grandchild Christina Ariana Escamilla. We think she is a special little girl as she will probably be our last grandchild. We can spoil her as much as we did the other two girls.

Cody's new look

Cody came to stay with William and Gabie for a while. He had really long hair when he came and looked really bad. William gave him a haircut the first evening he was here. He looks really nice with short hair.

Today was Raymond's First Communion. He looked pretty spiffy!

We have another beautiful little grandaughter. She was born 16 April 2010. She has been a really good baby so far. She sleeps a lot and very seldom crys. That may change as she grows though. Her name is Christina Ariana Escamilla.

William and Gabie are home! They came a long way from Georgia to come to the funeral and went to Ivy's for Christmas with Ivy, Israel and family and me and dad.

Lexie and her new blanket she got for Christmas. She had such a pretty dress I could not keep from taking some pictures of her. She is about 18 months old now.

This was the first time Vincent had been here for several years and the very first time Shanna has been here. They hope to be able to come back again in the near future.
